Meet the Founder

Hello, I’m Shannon!

I started Ezer in 2019 because I genuinely thrive off helping others succeed. And I also thrive off nerdy things like numbers and finances. Turns out, those two things pair really well when you run a bookkeeping company!

Outside of my many years’ experience as a bookkeeper, I’ve also spent much time helping leaders within my network (mainly ministry & non-profit leaders) organize, lead, and see projects to completion. I am also honored to serve as Treasurer for my church as well as for another local nonprofit.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me reading, gardening, hiking, rock climbing, cooking, traveling, or taking care of my (many!) plants.

Meet the Team

Bethany

Before joining the Ezer team, I worked as a nurse in several specialty areas and later served on the leadership team of an online university, teaching nursing courses and coordinating clinical hours for graduate and doctoral students nationwide. Through that work, I discovered how much I enjoy organization, quality improvement, and the administrative processes that help others succeed — which naturally led me into bookkeeping.

I’m passionate about delivering accurate, efficient work that gives you confidence in your numbers and frees you to focus on the parts of your business you love. 

Outside of work, you’ll find me with my husband and our three young children — gardening, camping, and spending time in our small, close-knit community.

Brianna

I have a background in household management, administrative work, and client relations for the financial industry. I’ve always found myself in job titles that center around helping others succeed, which is where I find my strengths lie: in carrying out the behind-the-scenes details that others may overlook. My driven, efficient, and detail-oriented mindset ensures all the t’s get crossed and i’s are dotted so your efforts can be focused on the vision of your business and what you love. 

I grew up in Iowa and made my way up to Minneapolis after marrying my high school sweetheart in 2012. Now we have two kids and we love taking them on adventures in nature any chance we get!

Brittany

Hi, I’m Brittany, and I happily joined the Ezer team in 2024. I’m passionate about detail-oriented work, building positive relationships, and supporting clients as they grow. Before becoming a bookkeeper in 2021, I spent nine years teaching in both special education and general education classrooms. Earning my Master’s degree in 2020 strengthened my organizational skills and deepened my desire to serve others — qualities that naturally led me into bookkeeping.

I love helping businesses stay organized and confident in their numbers, and I’m grateful for the chance to support clients through work that truly brings me joy.

I live in the beautiful state of Arizona with my husband and our two daughters. Originally from Wisconsin (Go Pack Go!), I enjoy traveling, volunteering, watching sports, and spending time at church and in our community.

Caitlyn

Hi! I’m Caitlyn and I joined the Ezer team in 2024. In my background, I have a range of experiences, from administrative work to engineering… but what I love most is solving puzzles of all kinds. Bookkeeping is perfect for that, as it turns out, especially when combined with a love of numbers and math. There is nothing quite like the satisfaction of putting in that last piece of the jigsaw puzzle or having that last number fall into place making everything balance out. After staying at home with my kids for many years, I am excited to be a part of this team of women working to support businesses grow and succeed.

I live in a small town in Minnesota with my husband and 3 kids. When we can’t be outside making memories, we can be found curled up by the fire playing games or watching football.

Kari

Hi, I’m Kari, and I started at Ezer in 2023. I love helping others solve problems and stay on top of details, and feeling like I’ve accomplished something at the end of each day. Being a bookkeeper allows me to check all of those boxes! My detail-oriented nature helps me to stay organized, and I am constantly looking for ways to make the things around me work more efficiently.  I feel most at peace when things are in order, and it is my goal to keep your things in order so you can feel at peace knowing the Ezer team will handle your needs.

In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and our three kids. Together we can be found making creative messes, playing outside, taking epic family road trips, and spending time with people we love. When I have a minute to myself I love to be outside, snuggle my cats, travel, play the piano, sing,  garden, eat, and read.

Kaylah

For the past seven years, I’ve been a stay-at-home mom, while also gaining hands-on experience in accounting work during that time. I truly enjoy connecting with people and always strive to bring my best to everything I do. I was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and raised in Chandler, Arizona. I’m happily married and a proud mom to two energetic boys who definitely keep me on my toes!

Outside of work, I enjoy baking sourdough and caring for my backyard chickens, both hobbies that keep me grounded and creative. I’m excited to meet future clients and look forward to helping fulfill your needs with dedication and care.
